The Basile Studio project takes shape, the fifth generation of the Basile family: Giovanna, Maria, and Nicola lead a complete rebranding of Hebanon Fratelli Basile \u2013 1830, transforming the ancient arts of wood, metal, and stone craftsmanship through a modern and contemporary lens.\n<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Nicola\u2019s sons, Sabato, Ascanio, Giovanni, and Ersilio, carried on the cabinetmaking tradition in the new workshop in Nocera Superiore, which remains the company\u2019s headquarters today, under the name Fratelli Basile.
\nIn 2001, the brand \u201cHebanon, the workshop of master cabinetmakers\u201d was founded to represent the luxury line of the Basile family.
A significant generational shift in management brought with it several technological innovations in both design and production. In 2004, Hebanon received the Campania Innovation Award thanks to
the introduction of a 5+1 axis machining center, still among the most advanced today.
That same year, the company obtained UNI EN ISO 9001 certification and began its first
collaborations with schools and art institutes to train students in marquetry and carving techniques.
\nSince 2007, thanks to Giovanna Basile\u2019s contribution, the company has expanded internationally, entering the Russian market.\n<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Nicola Basile had by then become a recognized cabinetmaker, marquetry, and woodcarving master, running an expanding workshop equipped with cutting-edge machinery and a skilled team of artisans.
\nThese were the years of major military commissions for interior furnishings and fixtures,
as well as monumental restorations and large-scale projects. Among these were the Tofano Barracks in Nocera Inferiore, the Sant\u2019Anna dei Lombardi Monumental Complex, and the State Railways Employees\u2019 Building in Battipaglia. \nAlongside his work, during the difficult years of World War II, the Basile family distinguished itself for its efforts in caring for and protecting partisans, as well as Italian and American soldiers, from
German persecution.\n<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

After the end of the First World War, Ascanio\u2019s grandson, Nicola Basile, a war veteran, decided to reinvent himself by opening a cabinetmaking workshop in the Casolla district of Nocera Inferiore
\nHis personal experience, combined with the family\u2019s long-standing tradition in woodworking, marked the beginning of a new chapter.\n<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Ascanio Basile, a native of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies and descendant of one of its oldest
families, began his career as an apprentice

\n\nHis innate curiosity and thirst for knowledge soon set
him apart, eventually leading him to take part in the construction of the carriages for the first
Naples\u2013Portici railway, a source of great pride at the time and a symbol of a kingdom looking
toward modernity.

\nFascinated by the art of cabinetmaking, Ascanio absorbed its secrets by learning from the most
renowned Neapolitan and French masters, blending the rigor of tradition with his own refined and
personal vision.

Driven by this creative passion, he decided to craft a special bedroom set for his
fianc\u00e9e, a gesture that united love and craftsmanship. However, destiny took a different turn: the growing commissions from local noble families, Naples\u2019\naristocracy, and even the Bourbon royal household led him down a path where love for art
triumphed over private affection. From this prophetic union of talent and dedication was born a
lineage of cabinetmakers, bound by a common thread of passion and skill that, generation after
generation, has kept the essence of the craft alive.

Guiding them was a motto as simple as it is profound: SPIRITUS INTUS ALIT - \u201cthe spirit within nourishes and gives life to things.\u201d
It is this very spirit that moves the hands, the heart, and the
